What this policy covers

This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the MatTimes mobile app and website.

Data we collect

• Account & submissions. Name and contact info you provide; gym submissions/updates and related metadata (timestamps, IP, general location).
• Purchases & subscriptions. Purchase status and entitlements via RevenueCat (we do not receive full card numbers).
• Location. Approximate or precise location (only with your permission) to center the map and show nearby gyms.
• Device & app diagnostics. Device/OS, app version, crash logs, and basic analytics to improve stability.
• Usage. Screens viewed and interactions to help us improve features.

How we use data

• Provide and improve MatTimes (maps, search, schedules).
• Verify entitlements and manage premium access.
• Prevent abuse and enforce our Terms.
• Communicate service updates and respond to support.
• Comply with law and protect rights.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us operate MatTimes:

• RevenueCat (subscription entitlements/receipts)
• Firebase Firestore & Storage (data and logo hosting)
• Maps & Geocoding (e.g., Google Maps; OpenCage for reverse geocoding)

These providers process data on our behalf under contracts consistent with this policy. We do not sell your personal information.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

We process data to perform a contract (provide the app), with your consent (e.g., location), and for our legitimate interests (security, analytics), balanced with your rights.

Data retention

We keep data while needed for service, security, and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices & rights

• Permissions. Disable location any time in device settings; some features may not work.
• Access / delete / correct. Email info@port13et.com.
• Marketing. Unsubscribe from any non-transactional emails.
• California (CCPA/CPRA). Rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing. Contact info@port13et.com. If required, we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism.
• GDPR (EEA/UK). Rights to access, delete, port, and restrict processing; you may complain to your local authority.

Children

MatTimes isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect children’s data.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the risk. No system is perfectly secure.

International transfers

Where data moves internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs where applicable).

Changes

We’ll update this policy as needed and post the new effective date here.
